Christians like to point to Flavius Josephus as proof the Jesus Christ existed but Flavius Josephus was born long after the "death" of Jesus.
God is such a scumbag that he could not even bother to write his instruction book for us. God claims to have created the universe and everything in it but he was unable to write a book.
There is a lot of controversy about the Bible and its meanings, translation and accuracy. God could clear it all up by flying down from his perch and presenting a Bible in his own words.

DeletePraying for you brother. May he answer all of the questions in you heart. I've been where you are, but God is real. Jesus is real. The word is real. May you delight in his presence for his Love over powers the evil and wickedness of this world. Free will is our biggest weakness. Free will of man and the sin of the wickedness cause war and destruction. God wants to free us from Sin. His word teaches Peace. If we would all be obedient to his word there would be no destruction in this world. Have a great day.

You may want to try actually reading the Bible. God is a criminal and his son is a liar. God loves war and he encourages it.
