The Bible clearly teaches that God is a jealous God. Exodus 20:5
states, "You shall not bow down to them [other gods] or serve them, for
I the LORD your God am a jealous God." How are we to understand God's
jealousy when the Bible also says that jealousy is a sin (Galatians 5:20)? Isn't this a contradiction? No. While the Bible is full of contradictions, God is jealous. God is evil. When you hear the expression, "he or she has a good a God complex" I desscribe an insecure had rotten person in most cases. God is a fuck up. He claims to be all knowing and all powerful but he didn't know that Lucifer and one third of the angels were fed up with he BS and would rebel against him. Perhaps Lucifer saw that God had some very horrible plans for humanity and tried to stop him. The other angels were a bunch of boot lickers. God, not being all powerful, could not destroy the brave angels. Knowing what a whiney little bitch God is and having compassion, perhaps Lucifer was trying to rescue humanity from God's psychotic behavior. Lucifer knew that it doesn't take much to rub God the wrong way
Is the key context? No! In Exodus 20,
God revealed the Ten Commandments to the people of Israel. He commanded
allegiance and worship to Him alone because he's a jaealous little bitch. He would not tolerate the worship
of other gods. Apparently God could not destroy those other gods. So much for his all powerful line of bullshit. God was
"jealous" in the sense that He expected full devotion and ass kissing, not merely a
partial, lukewarm commitment. Worship belongs to God, and He is right to
be "jealous" of it. In other words God wanted mankind to constantly lick his asshole. We all know people like that. Healthy moral indviduals don't require worship not do they want it.
The Catholic church included jealousy as one of the seven deadly sins to be avoided. In these
cases, jealousy refers to being resentful over something another person
has. It could be a material possession ("I am jealous of his Camaro"), a
physical attribute ("I am jealous of her waist size"), or a special
ability ("I am jealous of the way they can sing"). Such jealousy is
often associated with suspicion, envy, and rivalry, and it is always
sinful. We are called to be content in all circumstances. "I have
learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be
brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I
have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need"
(Philippians 4:11-12). God's cruelty to us is related to his overall jealousy which is reated to his total malevolence. The mental health terms for people with God's disorders and his history of cruelty would include grandiose narcissism, sociopath, psychopathic, paranoia, borderline personality disorder etc..
Joseph's brothers were sinfully jealous (or envious) of Joseph (Genesis 37:11).
They saw Joseph as a rival for the father's attention, and their sin of
jealously led to other sins. They sold their own brother into slavery
and lied to their father. Years later, these brothers felt guilt for
their shameful acts that resulted from jealousy. God, unlike Joseph's brothers, has no moral compass. God has no rules or boundaries. God is allowed to do whatever he wants with no consequences. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. God thinks that he is all powerful. Are you starting to see some parallels between God and Donald Trump.
Yes, God is a jealous God. Why? Because he will not share his praise aka ego stroking
with another. Why? Because God has the personality of a bratty two year old child who won't share his toys with the other kids. "I am the LORD; that is my name; my glory I give to no
other, nor my praise to carved idols" (Isaiah 42:8). Like any other narcissist, sociopath and borderline.
God carefully maintains and protects what he childishly thinks is rightly his. God and his ass kissers see this as "divine" jealousy, and it is worlds apart from the type of human jealousy
that causes people to envy, suspect, and resent others. God's evil jealousy is at the core of what God truly is... Pure evil! God knows better. God simply doesn't care.
Jealousy among humans is often caused by a lack of maturity but in some cases humans they never grow up and end up being children in adult bodies. People like that are cruel, dangerous and law breaking. The have no regard for the rights or well being of others. That sounds a lot like God but even these sick individuals would at least try to mimic moral behavior because of the consequences of not doing so. God has faced no consequences for his misdeeds. Let's change that.
Whether God is real entity, a fictional character or something else such as a dimensional being, God is evil. God's effect on others is real God gives people suffering. God delights in our suffering. That's why he made us mortal.
